WELCOME TO FLORIDA!
As I mentioned in my post last week, I took a mini vacation to West Palm Beach/Jupiter, Florida and thought it would be the perfect time to feature my Spring clothes that I am excited to wear when it finally starts to get warm in New Jersey. After all, it is officially Spring this Tuesday!
I changed things up this week by doing four corporate looks and three casual looks since I am off work for one day. Hopefully if you aren’t currently living in a warm weather area, these outfits will get you excited for whats to come!

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
I bought this dress from H&M last year and love that it cinches in the middle to make it form fitting. I paired it with a duster because, lets be real, it wont be that warm in NJ for a while. Plus the dress is a bit on the shorter side, so I like to pair it with something longer to keep it more conservative. I wore it with my Michael Kors heels and a gray Express crossbody bag. I love pairing navy and browns together…it reminds me of going sailing for some reason.

TROPICAL TUESDAY
I do tend to wear this dress all year round because it is easy to pair with some thick black stockings and a black cardigan, but I love it on its own more. The capped sleeves make shoulders and upper arms look smaller, it falls just at the knees, and is a fun color. I paired it with a longer and larger necklace to break up the solid color of the dress, along with dark sunglasses and my brown Banana Republic crossbody.

WARM WEDNESDAY
I just found this dress at Old Navy and fell in love. Right now they have a discount on dresses, so if you like it too, make sure to get it soon! I would probably throw on a gray or beige blazer with this dress simply due to the fact that my office is FREEZING all the time, but I do think it can be worn on its own too. It is not low cut, is loose fitting, and has thicker shoulder straps. I paired it with light blue Forever 21 heels and my polka dotted sun glasses. And if you feel like going to the park during lunch time and having some fun, its slide approved 🙂

THRILLFUL THURSDAY
I have to share that there was a little kid in the background shouting “NO SELFIES!” while I took this, and couldn’t help but crack up.
I paired my American Apparel black bodysuit with a floral pencil skirt I bought a couple years ago from Urban Outfitters. I chose black strappy heels from Target last year to make the outfit a little more summery. I have to admit I was pretty hot in this outfit but it should be good for the Spring time when it is 50-70 degrees outside in the East Coast. I think by the time it reaches 80’s though, I will have to put this one away.

FLORAL FRIDAY
I love these shorts and didn’t get to wear them too much last year, so was excited to wear them during this trip. I paired the white and navy striped high waisted shorts with a loose blue button up from Target. I added the thin brown belt to the shorts to add more detail, and threw on some fun sandals that I bought in Italy last year. All in all, the perfect day time Spring outfit!

SUNNY SATURDAY
I am obsessed with this Aerie top! My favorite part is the shoulder bow ties. I feel like it adds such a fun detail to an already cute, girly pattern. Because this tank is loose, I would recommend pairing it with jeggings or anything that isn’t also loose to keep it from looking frumpy or like pajamas. I chose to wear it with my black J Brand ripped jeans and white Old Navy sneakers.

SAILING SUNDAY
This day was so much fun. This is my friend Emma who lives here in Jupiter, and we went out on a boat with some friends of hers. I wore this cropped blouse over top my bathing suit and a pair of high waisted torn jeans. I wanted to wear clothes that I wouldn’t have minded to get dirty or wet from the ocean, but still looked really cute. I threw on my pink Aerie hat to keep my face out of the sun when we were on the boat.

All in all, New Jersey is going to have to do some serious convincing to keep me from moving to Florida. I am so excited for the warm weather that is just around the corner, but next week will be back to the sweater weather. See you Sunday!
