Teacher Appreciation Week! MONDAY + DISCOUNTS

2018 Corporate Style, Budget Shopping, Spring Fashion, Teacher Appreciation Week / Tuesday, May 8th, 2018

To all you teachers out there – THIS IS YOUR WEEK!

This is the week where you get to be a little bit spoiled and it is WELL deserved. If you ask me, every week should be teacher appreciation week. You guys work so hard to shape our youth (and our non youth such as college professors, skill teaching, etc.) and your job is so important to the success of our future! You put up with parents yelling at you, supervisors putting pressure on you, kids not listening, ever changing curriculum… its a lot.

In honor of all you lady teacher’s out there, I am making this week’s style dedicated all to you! With the help of my friends in the profession, I will be posting outfit inspiration this week that teachers can wear and be comfortable in at work.

MONDAY’S LOOK

I chose a conservative dress from The Limited- not low cut, capped sleeves, down to the knees, solid color, and not too tight- and paired it with a gray cross body from Express. The Anne Klein faux snakeskin shoes can be swapped out for flats in the same pattern if you do a lot of running around! If the capped sleeves are not allowed or it tends to run cold in your school, grab a tan, gray or black blazer or cardigan to go over it. I picked a subtle mid level necklace instead of a longer one so that if you work with young kids, they wont grab it, and they won’t be drawn to this one too much. Last but most certainly not least, I swapped my casual Fitbit wristband for this cute and chic brown “leather” band. I know most of you tend to run around a lot, so wearing your Fitbit to see how much you’ve walked in a day is great!
